A4 copy is captioned (Traction engine in 1910) "...Falling into the ditch over Mr Highwood's side down that steep bank. They were a day and a half getting it out. This is the engine got upright, no-one was hurt, but the driver kept sticking till it settled at the bottom. There were hundreds of people to see it." - Alice Sharp nee Giles (mother of Doug Giles), writing on the back of the original, which is postmarked (poss) 1906 but certainly before 1910.
