Mounted with U-0177 (second photo of same event).
Stephen Flisher, retired police officer from the Met, came to Marden in 1928, lived at Little Mountain Farm, ancestors came from Romney Marsh family. Was warden of Pagehurst airstrip, had an early telephone, had to go to Pagehurst emergency landing strip to report weather - if foggy he lit lamps.
